I finally did it.
I am now officially registered for the New England Piano Championship.

I told myself that this year would be my last... but gut instinct never listens to your mind, it seems! It always wants to betray you at the very last minute...!
So here I am, about to get my ass whooped for the third year in a row.
At least I can say that I tried my best.

Went to my much-richer-than-we-are cousin's GED party.
It was fun.
I'm beginning to think that height is becoming a disease in my family.
Aforementioned cousin is only a year older than me, and he's like 6'7" now.
TALLER THAN MY DAD WTF.
He had to bend down to hug a lot of people, myself included. o__o

Uggh. Where did the weekend go?
I really don't want to go back to school.

Other than that, flute lessons were awesome.
I like my new teacher a lot better than my previous one.
She seems more enthusiastic and actually enjoys working with me, minus the "I'm only doing this because I get paid" kind of attitude.

Dear friends, stalkers, secret admirers, and whoever else reads this journal;
Today is Sir Yami's birthday!
Actually, it really isn't, but with our school's PA system, which is messed up beyond belief, you can never really tell anymore.

I'll have to be perfectly honest. This year started off terrible for me. Not just in the "oh whoops I made one little mistake that can easily be fixed" type of terrible, but more like the "OH FUCK WHAT ON EARTH AM I DOING; I MUST HAVE BEEN ON DRUGS THE WHOLE TIME AND ONLY NOW AM I REALIZING THIS" type. Yeah. It's pretty serious.

I suppose that it all really began when I had my heart broken for the... *counts on fingers* third time, as hinted in my last entry. I won't get into the details, simply because I don't want to.

Such an impact left me a little shaken up when school began, and of course, this meant that I wasn't able to adjust. I'm still stuck in summer vacation mode, even as I write this, and I'm trying to force myself out of it before it starts to become noticed by my parents.

'Tis why I cling on to one thing.
Hope.
My life is messed up beyond belief right now, and I'm gonna step up to the plate and do whatever it takes to put that statement in reverse.

- Find a new anime to watch, preferably something that doesn't require a lot of thinking... I just want fluff right now tbh.

So sorry to all SCL members, but the exchange thread will be delayed (again) as well. As much as I would LOVE some art right about now, there's no way I'd be able to finish my half in a timely manner.

All else I can say is thank God I have a 3-day weekend since I'm gonna need it to straighten out my life.

I absolutely LUUURRRRRVE how my computer suddenly decides "OH HELLO THERE I'M GONNA GIVE YOU A VIRUS SCAN NOW EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T REALLY NEED IT BECAUSE YOU LAST SCANNED TWO DAYS AGO!!! YAY!!"

Aaaand in the process, it slows my Internet down! HOORAY!!! HONESTLY, I DON'T THINK I COULD ASK FOR A BETTER PRESENT THAN SLOW INTERNET!! I LOVE YOU MY DARLING COMPUTER; YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL!!! :D :D :D

Next time I get the chance, I'll change the settings so that it will only scan at three in the morning.

The Peach Festival was AWESOME this year.
Shame it had to rain halfway through the thing.
